The following are a list of common administrative tasks in the CDP console:

Managing Console Users

The Managing Console Users feature allows administrators to control access and permissions for different users within the platform. By configuring roles and privileges, you can ensure that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data and critical functionalities. This way, you can maintain a secure and efficient environment for all users.

Dividing the Business Units in Multi-business Areas

The Dividing the Business Units in Multi-business Areas feature enables the subdivision of a business unit into multiple business areas, allowing users to focus on specific customers within CX Flows, CX Journeys, and Audiences. By segmenting business units, you can limit configurations and streamline user access, enhancing efficiency and targeting efforts more effectively.

Defining Retention Rules

The Defining Retention Rules feature allows you to set policies for how long data should be retained before being deleted or archived. Implementing effective retention rules helps in maintaining data hygiene, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing storage resources by getting rid of unnecessary or outdated information.

Exporting and Importing Packages

The Exporting and Importing Packages functionality enables you to transfer configurations between different business units, workspaces or tenants.
