This course is designed to equip participants with the skills necessary to effectively manage and administer SAP's Profitability and Performance Management Cloud using the Universal Model. This training provides a comprehensive understanding of the subscription process, role management, team restrictions, authorization, event logs, connection setups, and administration applications within the SAP Business Technology Platform. Participants will learn to navigate the complexities of SAP PaPM Cloud, ensuring efficient data management, security, and performance optimization.

With the release of BDC, what changes with our PaPM integration? What stays the same? &nbsp;We will discuss Solution Architecture, Use cases and Roadmap. PaPM address multiple business requirements such as
<ul>
<li>Advanced costing and profitability analysis down to single item level even for millions of customers and products/services</li>
<li>Transfer pricing, Country by Country Reporting (CBCR)</li>
<li>Calculation of income tax incl. global minimum tax (BEPS Pillar 2)</li>
<li>IT financial management</li>
<li>Looking backwards with actuals and forward with simulations</li>
<li>Transition from ECC to S/4HANA replacing home-grown applications, no longer available industry-solutions and spreadsheets keeping core clean</li>
</ul>
PaPM could help to drive significant and fast BDC adoption. For instance, we see 300+ customers that are currently running PaPM on BW which want to move to BDC. This can only happen if PaPM is part of the BDC data fabric. (2025 H1 Learn to Win, BTP-ExtPlan)
