To add sorting to your chart, cuts and select sort. In this overview, you can sort by the selected dimensions and measures by default value or an advanced sorting algorithm. For sorting of dimension members, you can choose the options ascending, descending, or an individual custom order. To rearrange the order of the dimension members, simply use the drag and drop function. For sorting of measures, you can sort from lowest to highest or highest to lowest. Un-sort your chart by using the default order option. When using advance sorting, you can select a measure to sort by as well as the order option. The same sorting options are available for tables. Right-click on the measure header and select sort options. Here, you can choose the same order options as for charts or unsort by using the default order. The measure used for sorting will be displayed in the table details. It is also possible to rank the dimension members based on the specific measure used in chart. To add a ranking to the chart, click on the three dots and select sort. You can select the top five and bottom five options or create your own ranking with an individual value of top and bottom options. Additionally, you can group dimension members that are not included in the ranking by using the group remaining option setting.
