In this lesson, we’ll create and configure new customers in SAP Subscription Billing.

Now that Bob knows his customer type, he can begin creating a new customer. After selecting the proper customer type, enter the following information: For individual customers, enter their name, address, markets, and customer references. For corporate customers, enter the company name, address, contacts, markets, and custom references.
A customer is assigned to one or multiple markets. A customer may only subscribe to products assigned to the same market as the customer. For example, if a customer would like to subscribe to products assigned to the market USA01, it must be assigned to market USA01. A market represents the organizational unit that offers a product, setting the legal framework and reflecting various business-relevant attributes, including a reference to a sales organization and further aspects, such as currency, price type, and time zone. For subscription products, each subscription is associated with a single market.
