When referring to the expiration of a subscription with an offset of 30 days before, the corresponding event will be published when the system date of SAP Subscription Billing reaches 30 days to expiration date of the subscription.

It is also possible to start a recurring sequence of notifications with reference to one of the available state changes. For example, a notification can be published every other week starting when the subscription begins.
Once a product is saved for the first time, it is in the state of "unpublished" and cannot be subscribed to. To allow customers to subscribe to the product, the state needs to be changed to "published." It is also possible to revert the state of a published product to "unpublished."
Summary
We’ve covered several topics for setting up new subscription service products, from creating a new product based on an existing rate plan template and creating new rate plans for products to adding custom references and subscription notifications. In our next unit, we’ll create a rate plan template as a reusable model and use SAP Price Calculation for calculating prices for services.
