Often, quantities changes are made to a subscription mid-month. The charges associated with a subscription require prorata billing. Enabling this option will calculate the recurring fee associated to the first billing cycle prorata. If enabled, assuming a calendar month is charged at 30,- €, the first billing period of a subscription would only be charged for 20,- € if the contract started on the 11th of April.
