This figure shows you a representation of customers and partners and gives you examples of that motivation for the SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework.

The Enterprise Architecture Foundation training is offered to customers and partners as well as SAP employees in all functions.

The aim is to learn and apply a common Enterprise Architecture Framework while enabling common understanding and EA acumen.

This figure is shows you a circle that shows you the relationship and function of the SAP EA Methodology, SAP Reference Business and Solution Architecture Content, EA Tooling, EA Practice, and EA Services.

The SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework consists of five building blocks:

  • Methodology: Proven, TOGAF and industry standards-based EA methodology, widely adopted throughout SAP - The latest version of TOGAF 10 has been taken into consideration.

  • Reference Architecture Content: SAP Reference Business and Solution Architecture mapping Business and SAP IT Solutions - SAP Reference Business and Solution Architecture provides standardized, high quality EA content (APQC based) to describe the complete business scope of enterprises mapped to SAP (reference) solutions.

  • Tooling: Set of SAP-internal and customer-facing architecture tools - SAP EA toolchain consists of solutions like Signavio, CALM, PMG, API Hub which support the authoring and/or publishing and consumption of SAP EA Content.

  • Practice: It is the organizational implementation of EA. It operates enterprise architecture within the organization, by adopting the EA methodology and establishing governance processes incl. change management process for the framework.

  • Services: Standardized SAP EA Services to support customer transformation - A broad range of architecture services is offered to support the digital transformation
