Reviewing the Key Considerations for Drive

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to explain Drive's key considerations in using it to capture mileage.

Reviewing the Key Considerations for Drive

  • Using either capture option, you can choose to upload your trips automatically to Concur Expense or manually send them to reports.
  • Captured trips are turned into mileage expenses and added to your expense report.
  • You can review and edit entries before submitting your expense report for approval and reimbursement.
  • Expense reports can be submitted from either your desktop or mobile device.
  • Before adding trips to an expense report, transactions show rounded mileage, but once added, the reimbursement amount is displayed.
  • Captured mileage transactions are saved and available for reassignment to another expense report if an expense report is deleted.
  • Drive can detect the end of the trip, and a banner notification displays indicating the stop of the trip capturing. When you start moving again, you’ll get another notification to mark the start of a new trip. This will not impact the total mileage calculation.
