Remember, there are two different sync types. Full sync. Used for initial implementation. Delta or incremental sync. Used for scheduled recurring synchronization jobs. Real-time syncing happens, when hard-coded fields, or fields with custom mapping, is updated in Employee Central through self-service transactions. Import syncing happens, when EC data, is imported. And the scheduled sync happens, according to a scheduled job setup in provisioning. I recommend that you schedule the recurring job, to run once daily at midnight. Since synchronization can be triggered by self-service transactions, and import, an hourly recurring job is not only unnecessary, but could also affect the system performance. What a relief to hear that. At least we are assured, we always have the consistent data, across all the SAP SuccessFactor solutions.
