Create New Foundation Records

Business Case:

You need to create a new pay component for the Base Salary in Germany.

Update Foundation Record Translations

Business Case:

You need to provide German translations for legacy foundation objects. For a proof-of-concept, you will only translate the Dynamic Role names in German. The translations are provided for you.

The max-length must be adjusted to 128 to accommodate the translations. Translations for description fields can be ignored.

To determine the matched records, you can compare default value labels to the translations file provided.

Steps

  1. Export FoTranslation records

  2. You will only translate the names of dynamic role records.

  3. Delete the records not required for translations.

  4. Find the translations of the names in the translations file.

  5. Import and validate the translations.

Create Custom Generic Records

Business Case:

You need to create a few building records for the Walldorf campus.
