Customization Manager Capabilities

All customization capabilities are accessible via Customization Manager. The capabilities that appear in Customization Manager are dependent on your group membership.

Field Configuration	Browse the public customization API. Modify a class. Create new fields. Edit existing fields.			X
Enumerations	View, upload, and download enumerations.	X	X
Migrated Enumerations	View and download enumerations that were migrated via configuration migration API or ICM.	X	X
Available Flex Fields	Obtain information about available storage fields.			X

Advanced Configuration Access capabilities are only accessible in test realms.

Access Customization Manager – Administration vs Core Administration

The Customization Manager for Sourcing modules is accessed following these steps:

From the dashboard, select Manage → Administration
In the ADMINISTRATION tab, select Customization Manager

The Customization Manager for Procurement modules is accessed following these steps:

From the dashboard, select Manage → Core Administration
In the ADMINISTRATION tab, select Customization Manager

Publish and Clear Staged Field Customizations

If the field customizations you made have not been published or cleared, the customizations are staged. Your staged field customizations cannot be seen, published, or cleared by another user.

Staged field customizations must be published in order for them to become active and visible to other users.

Select Customizing → Publish to publish all the staged field customizations you made on the realm (and its child realms, if applicable).

Select Customizing → Clear to clear all the staged field customizations you made on the realm (and its child realms, if applicable).
