
Jenny is tasked with creating a new group for all North America Report Managers to provide reporting privileges to specific employees.
SAP Ariba already has a Report Manager’s system group, which automatically inherits all of the permissions needed.
A group is a collection of users based on a logical division, such as:
- System role
- Department
- Location

Group Fields

User Group membership can be used to:
- Determine the functions a user can perform
- Route documents for approval
- Control dashboard visibility
- Configure catalog views
- Setup email notifications
- Control visibility of transactions
- Control visibility and validation of custom fields
