Supply Chain Monitor Component Requirements

The Supply Chain Monitor comprises several components. Each component has different requirements in relation to SAP Business Network support enablement, collaboration components, and permissions required.

The following table lists these requirements as well as the impact of each component on what is displayed in the Supply Chain Monitor.

Supply Chain Monitor Alert Features

The Supply Chain Monitor includes features to manage different types of alerts. When one of these features in enabled, a related option is added to the Administrator settings.

To access the Administrator settings, in the top right-hand corner of the Supply Chain Monitor, choose the settings icon.

The Supply Chain Monitor manages the following alert types:

  1. Order confirmation deviation alerts
  2. Supplier-managed inventory alerts
  3. Forecast alerts
  4. Quality notification alerts

As soon as changes to the Administrator settings are saved, the settings are in effect for newly sent purchase orders and confirmations.

Alerts generated prior to the change to the Administrator settings are not impacted.
