Introduction
When the production operator is ready to process a bicycle at an operation, they will record their actions in the production operator dashboard (POD). Certifications for the material, operation activity, and resource can be defined to restrict which operators can work on the bicycle.
Certifications Validation
The required certifications are validated against a user's set of assigned certifications when work processing occurs at the operation activity, resource, or on a material in the POD.
To enable this validation, a Production Process needs to be defined.
The first step is to create a new Cloud Process within a Production Process Design in the Manage Production Processes application.
Search for the Check Certification service under the Certification Check group.
Finally, go to the POD Designer application and open the POD where you want to implement the new certificate check logic. For example, to have the certification check when starting a shop floor control (SFC), edit the POD, select the Start button and select the Assign Actions button on the Configuration panel on the right-hand side of POD Designer.

If the user doesn't have all the required certifications or if the certifications are expired, they are prevented from starting work on the bicycle, and a warning is displayed in the POD.
