Creating a Maintenance Plan with Order

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to create a single cycle plan with the order call object

Orders Created by a Maintenance Plan

Technical objects are to be maintained in a fixed cycle as determined by the OEM or your organization's maintenance program.

Image depicts an example of a calling order. Further information is in the following text.

The Order call object is selected when the maintenance plan is created using the category of the maintenance plan.

At the maintenance plan item level, you can identify the type of order that will be generated by the plan. The system won't automatically release the order during scheduling if the Do Not Release immediately flag is set; even if the Release immediately indicator has been set in the configuration of the maintenance order type.
