Generative AI is already having a profound impact on business applications. It can drive innovation, automate creative tasks, and provide personalized customer experiences. Many businesses see generative AI as a powerful new tool for creating content, solving complex problems, and transforming the way customers and workers interact with technology.

The Generative AI capabilities that are supported in Opportunity Marketplace are the Assisted Opportunity Marketplace Assignments , the Assisted Skill Recommendation for Opportunity Marketplace Assignments and the global feature AI-Assisted Writing.

With Intelligent Recommendations users can get personalized recommendations powered by SAP AI Business Services. This system gathers individual data from SAP SuccessFactors to analyze and identify patterns.

Machine learning algorithms are then applied to generate personalized opportunity recommendations. This is displayed in the following sections:

• Top Picks for You: Machine learning technology recommends opportunities based on a user's profile and activity data. Opportunities are more weighted, when their required skills/attributes are marked by the user as being passionate about or being tagged as critical
• Ignite Your Role: Intelligent opportunity recommendations in this section focus on improving the skills that users already have and are needed in a user's current role. Therefore we consider the following attributes to filter or boost the intelligent recommendations:
  • Skills/attributes that the user already has.
  • Skills/ attributes that are needed for the user's current job role.
• Reach Your Aspirations: Intelligent opportunity recommendations in this section focus on the user's aspirations. Therefore we consider the following attributes to filter or boost the intelligent recommendations
  • Skills/attributes that the user is interested in.
  • Skills/attributes that are required for the user's target role.
  • Skills/attributes that are required for the user's development goals.

Assignment owners and co-owners can create and edit assignments using generative AI capabilities. It is as simple as entering an input text and choose Generate, to create an assignment in Opportunity Marketplace with generative AI. It is also possible to copy from an existing assignment or edit an assignment with these capabilities.

1. To start, navigate to Opportunity Marketplace and choose Create Assignment.
2. A menu will display with the options to create an assignment. An input text can be added to tell the system the assignment that we want to create. Choose Generate so the input can be analyzed and retrieve the results.

4. The fields that are supported for AI-generated content are: Type, Assignment Name, Description, Start Date, End Date, Total Openings, Participation, Work Mode, and Job Role.

   Other fields like Background image, Participations hours/week or %, Co-owners and custom fields, still need to be configured manually.

   
5. The Regenerate button is available if we would like the system to analyze again and retrieve different results. However, this option will automatically update the AI generated fields without retaining the history of the previous content. A popup dialog will display to inform the user.
6. The assignment created will show as enhanced by AI.
