Opportunity Marketplace Overview

With Opportunity Marketplace (OMP), employees can explore opportunities to plan their individual growth journey. Based on personalized recommendations and a powerful search engine, employees can browse all available opportunities to choose the ones that are best for them, meeting their interests and development aspirations.

Explore opportunities from experiential opportunities (Assignments). Typical assignments are short-term work assignments, fellowships, agile projects, gigs or more to achieve a common task, solve a problem or learn and practice new skills and experiences.

In this example, a user navigates to Opportunity Marketplace to explore available assignments and open jobs.

Additionally, Opportunity Marketplace takes advantage of sophisticated technologies, such as AI and machine learning algorithms, to offer recommended opportunities tailored for employees’ growth and development. These opportunities originate from SAP SuccessFactors Career Development Planning, Learning, and Recruiting and are offered in the form of action cards. Users can act directly on the cards to respond to the recommended opportunities.

Since 2H 2024 Release, Opportunity Marketplace is part of the new SAP SuccessFactors Career and Talent Development Solution bundle, which includes Career and Development Planning, Mentoring, Succession Management and OMP opportunities and assignments. The learning journey
