<div id="content"><p tabindex="0">The prerequisites to enable Opportunity Marketplace are the following:</p><ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li tabindex="0">Opportunity Marketplace license or SAP SuccessFactors Career and Talent Development bundle.</li><li tabindex="0">Job Profile Builder or Talent Intelligence Hub enabled (or both).</li></ul><p tabindex="0">Opportunity Marketplace can only be enabled from Provisioning currently. The permissions under this category are:</p><ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li tabindex="0"><strong>Manage Opportunity Marketplace Configuration</strong>. From this tool, administrators can turn on/off types of opportunities to be recommended in Opportunity Marketplace, such as Open Jobs, Learning or Job Roles.</li><li tabindex="0"><strong>Configure Assignments</strong>. To manage assignment types, configure general settings and add define custom fields that can be used for assignments in Opportunity Marketplace.</li><li tabindex="0"><strong>Manage Intelligent Recommendations in Opportunity Marketplace</strong>. Enable recommendations powered by machine learning algorithms. There are some data requirements that will be discussed later.</li><li tabindex="0"><strong>Mass Create Assignments</strong>. Opportunity Marketplace Installation JDM to TIH

This is going to be a demonstration on how to install Opportunity Marketplace. So we've brought up the SAP Help portal, and we've gone to the SAP Success tors Opportunity Marketplace. Now, the URL for that is available. You can go to help dots.com, and when we get to that location, we have the option to see the implementing O Marketplace documentation. And from in there, we have the ability to go through and look at the enabling option new marketplace. And one of the first thing that pops up is the prerequisite that says you either have to have job Profile Builder or Talent Intelligence Hub enabled in your system. And it talks about more information. And there are documents for job Profile Builder and Talent Intelligence Hub also on the S&P He portal. So what we can do is I have a system where I'm going to go to the check tool And the check tool can help us determine if we're ready for certain upgrades, et cetera. And I'm going to switch to the Legacy UI, and I'm going to look for Talent Intelligence Hub as the application. I want to check. I'll expand this area here to see all the checks that need to be run. So I'll select that, and I'll click on Run the Checks. You may have seen that I previously ran it, and there were no issues, so I don't expect any issues this time either. But if there were issues, you'd be able to take a look at them and find out what needs to be fixed. So if there's a behaviour name that's, you know, longer than 236 characters, we might have an issue with that, right? So each one of these sort of explains that check. But since it's passed, we should be able to go ahead and install Talent Intelligence Hub. Now, we would have also been able to go ahead and switch to job profile Builder. If we go to job description Manager, which is the currently installed application we're using for mapping and managing competencies. If I want to check here of this one, it's to let me know if I have any issues related to job profile builder. So you can see there's a migration of job description manager, job profile builder migration, and that one checks out okay, but below it, there's a couple of issues here. There's job codes are active and valid. However, they're not actually mapped properly. All right. So we do have some some role names with some job codes, and those aren't actually mapped to any users. So the system is complaining about that. So if we wanted to go this route, we'd have to install JPB and then we'd have to upgrade that would get us to something called centre capabilities, which we would then go from centre capabilities to Talent Intelligence Hub. Now, as of first tab 2023, there's a new path for going from JDM, the version we're currently on to talented intelligence Hub directly. So we're going to follow that path. Now, there's there are limitations to the functionality if you do that, and you can look at the documentation to see those. So let's go ahead and let's go to Upgrade Centre. From Upgrade Centre, we have the option to upgrade to Talent Intelligence Hub. We'll select it and we'll take a quick look, and we'll note this bright red text warning, you can't revert to a previous version after successfully migrating to Talent Intelligence Hub. Before we enable this, make sure that you've checked the release notes that you know what you're doing, because there are some things that are not reversible, all right? So you want to make sure, just like some other upgrades like upgrades to the latest goal management, et cetera, that you're sure you want to do this because otherwise you obviously can't reverse. So you'd want to test this out in a demo system or test system to make sure that you're okay. All right? And again, plenty of information here to tell us about what we need to do, all right? As far as and then also what enhancements and features will be available when you upgrade to the Talent Intelligence Hub and what's available here. So let's go ahead and upgrade now. All right, and our system is being upgraded to Talent Intelligence Hub. Please check the status here. So we've navigated to scheduled job manager, and we can see that the job for Talent Intelligence Hub migration has completed, and it looks like if we look at the details, that the job completed successfully. So now that that's done, we can take a look at the implementation guide to see the next step. So we've met the prerequisite of enabling talent Intelligence Hub. Next, we need to go to provisioning to company settings and enable opportunity marketplace, separate licence required. Right? So we'll do that now. So we logged in provisioning, for instance, we're going to go to company settings. And in company settings, we'll look for opportunity. And right here it says, Enable Option Marketplace, separate licence required. So we'll come to the top, we'll grab our company ID and copy it. We'll scroll back down to our option to enable it, check the box, scroll back up to the nearest Save button, which is right over here off the screen a little bit. Save the feature, paste in our change. Confirm, and then do one more search to make sure that the checkmark did actually happen. So it has. So we've gone ahead. We've done the enablement now, and the next thing we'll want to do is take a look at the front end after we've done this and set up role based permission for users to access opportunity marketplace. So now that we've gone ahead and turned on Intelligence Hub, turned on opportunity Marketplace and then provisioning, now we're going to set up role based permissions for user to access opportunity Marketplace. So we'll return to the front end and set that up there. So back in the front end, we'll go to managed roles, permission roles. And we'll take a look at our full system admin role. And for permissions, we'll take a look at user permissions. And we have opportunity Marketplace just below career development planning. So we have the option to select all, which will turn on opportunity marketplace access assignments to view them and to create assignments, which is possible here. Now, if we scroll down, we have the option to manage opportunity Marketplace, which will let us manage the configuration and configure assignments. So we'll save those changes. And anytime we change RVP, we want to log out and log back in to let those changes take effect. So right now, if I look for something like manage opportunity, I won't see results. So we'll log in or so we'll logo and log back in and see if we see a different result. So we've just logged out and logged back in. Type in opportunity. We have the option to manage opportunity Marketplace, or with the option under home to go to opportunity Marketplace, since it's active. But let's take a look at manage O Marketplace first. And see what's available. Now, currently, we have two options. We have assignments and job roles, right? So those are the only two available, and that's due to the fact that we were able to upgrade, but we used the job description manager upgrade to Talent Intelligence Hub as opposed to going from job profile builder through centre of capabilities to Talent Intelligence Hub. There's more functionality available there. Okay.
