Enabling the Unified Data Model

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to enable the Unified Data Model

Unified Data Model

Customers are encouraged to enable the Unified Data Model to take advantage of an upgraded search experience, improved support for non-English languages, and more.

The diagram displaying the advantages of the Unified Data Model explained in this section.

If the Unified Data Model has been enabled in your customer’s environment, this enablement includes configuring the Marketing Brand Generic Object and Job Location Generic Objects and running the ReBuild Job Requisition Search Index job in Scheduled Job Manager.

For existing customers, you will also need to run jobs to convert existing location data and create job locations and brands. After verifying the successful completion of the migration processes by viewing the UnifyConfiguration MDF Object, you can enable the Unify Data Model in Career Site Builder.

From CSBSettingsSite ConfigurationSite Information, select YES for Use Unified Data Model.
