Recommending Enablment of the Internal Career Site

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to summarize the benefits of using the Career Site Builder site for internal applicants

Internal Career Site

Internal candidates have the same branded and mobile optimized experience that is provided to external candidates, in a single, consistent career site.

Old career sites were based on text; new career sites have photographs, headers, and sections.

Internal Employee Access

Internal employees can access the career site from the Careers link in the main navigation menu, or they can access the company’s career site directly and log in as an employee.

To enter the SAP SuccessFactors Home Page, choose Home – Careers. On the Carer Site Home Page, choose Employee Login.

Employee Options

After logging in using Identity Authentication Service single sign-on, the following options appear under My Account:

  • View Profile

  • Employee Home

  • Log Out

Choose the My Account dropdown.

Employee Content

When using the internal career site, customers have the ability to add employee specific content to their career site. The CSB page Components can be flagged as Internal, External, or both.

Add employee specific content to your career site by selecting Internal, External, or both checkboxes.

Internal Jobs

Internal candidates have access to internal job postings. Jobs will need to be posted internally for internal candidates to access them.

In this example, two jobs are posted for internal applicants.

Two jobs are highlighted in the job search result.

Referral of a Friend to Job

For customers who use employee referral, Refer a Friend to Job is now available on the internal career site. This functionality honors the existing employee referral configuration in Admin Center and works the exact same as the current "Refer a Job to Friend" functionality on the original internal career site.

Refer a Friend form with fields such as first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, country, and file selector.

Prerequisites for an Internal Career Site

These prerequisites must be in place to implement an internal career site:

  • All of the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting integrations have been configured, including Candidate Account Simplification, Recruiter Single Sign On, and Real Time Job Sync.

  • The career site is deployed using Career Site Builder.

  • Mobile Apply is enabled.

  • The Identity Authentication service (IAS) is enabled for the SAP SuccessFactors system.

Identity Authentication Service (IAS)

Identity Authentication Service is required so that an internal candidate can be identified as an employee and be able to access the elements of the site that are available to employees.

Identity Authentication Service must first be enabled and configured for the customer in SAP SuccessFactors platform. Configuration is also required in Provisioning.

Note

This course does not cover Identity Authentication Service configuration.

Identity Authentication Service Single Sign-On in Recruiting

An SAML 2.0 identity provider for single sign-on (SSO) helps in creating and managing identity information along with providing authentication services.

Recruiting uses Identity Authentication Service (IAS) for this purpose. The authentication single sign-on service of Identity Authentication Service helps candidates to navigate back and forth across the SAP SuccessFactors system and the Recruiting Career Site seamlessly, and allows them access to employee specific information, such as internal job postings.

Once you have configured Identity Authentication Service for the SAP SuccessFactors system, you must follow it up with the Recruiting-specific configuration. There are several steps to this process.

You must add your SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting instances as tenants in Identity Authentication Service to configure them.

The Recruiting integration with Identity Authentication Service is now available via the Upgrade Center. Please see the Setting Up and Maintaining SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting guide for instructions.
