Now that we have learned how to subscribe to the connector and create our system definitions, we can start configuring our synchronization project settings.

Synchronization Project is used to configure synchronization settings between SAP Signavio and SAP Solution Manager systems, that are defined in the connector.

SAP Signavio Dictionary object type ‘Activity’ is mapped to the corresponding object type in SAP Solution Manager.

SAP Signavio and SAP Solution Manager attributes are mapped using the below groups.

Preview of synchronization settings allows to ensure that all selected data elements are defined correctly.

It allows to specify preferred SAP Solution Manager Solution, Branch, define settings for Dictionary Categories and attributes mapping.

 

Recommended (already predefined by the connector).

Saving the Project will trigger creation of new Dictionary Categories and attributes in SAP Signavio.

You can also specify whether you want to synchronize processes of a specific revision state only (SAP Signavio Process Governance is a prerequisite).

 

Custom (all relevant standard and customer attributes).

It will be done prior to data transfer and based on the settings provided by the user.

Every Project has a unique ID and controls only one combination of systems.

   

It’s independent from the directions of data transfer.
