FAQs
Where can I find "System Name", "System ID", "Client Number" and "Support Package Stack" information?
Where can I find "Location ID", and can I leave the field in the connector blank?
Please go to your SAP BTP subaccount. You can find the Location ID under Connectivity > Cloud Connectors > Master Instance (Location ID) . If there is no ID next to Master Instance (shown inside brackets), then there is no Location ID defined. In this case, you can leave the field blank when creating the SAP Solution Manager definition.
The Location ID (optional) can be defined by the Cloud Connector administrator when connecting to the BTP subaccount. Please make sure to only use letters and numbers for the location ID, otherwise the system cannot be successfully connected.
If the Cloud Connector has a location ID, it must be provided in the connector Location ID field or connectivity to SAP Solution Manager will not be successful.
If, however, the Cloud Connector is configured without the Location ID, this field in the connector can be left blank.
How to check the "System Role" for SAP Solution Manager?
Can I connect more than one SAP Solution Manager system and SAP Signavio workspace to the connector?
Yes. The connector supports multi-system connectivity, which means that more than one SAP Signavio Process Manager workspace and SAP Solution Manager system can be connected to the connector application at the same time.
Why is the status of my connected system on inactive?
If the status of your connected system shows inactive, it means that the system has not been used in a synchronization project. When you create and activate a synchronization project (Unit 4), the respective systems will be activated.
