Let's have an overview of SAP Signavio Process Governance. As part of the SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite, Process Governance allows you to govern and manage your process repositories. In this video, we will walk you through the main features and how it is structured. Let's start by accessing from the Process Collaboration Hub. Click on the menu button and go to Process Governance. Alternatively, if a task has been assigned to you, you can access from the Tasks tab in the Process Collaboration Hub or from the notification email. Regardless of how you choose to access, a new tab will open for process governance. You will find the menu on the left-hand side. Each tab provides different functionalities for managing and analyzing business processes. All tasks assigned to you are listed in the Tasks tab. A task represents work that someone will presumably complete. Cases typically include multiple tasks, usually those that the process defines. You can also add ad hoc tasks to a case. You can assign a task to a specific user, set a due date, and add subtasks. All cases for the individual workflows which have been started are displayed under Cases. Each case is a one-time execution of a workflow. Cases typically represent more work than a simple task for a single person, but less than a whole project. A case brings together a set of tasks, a discussion and documents, and allows participants to share any relevant context information for the tasks. The Processes tab shows all existing workflows. A process defines a template for automating repetitive work. Each time an organization starts a process, several tasks must be completed. When someone starts the process, SAP Signavio Process Governance creates a new case. Using the process builder, you can create and configure executable processes. Here you can create new process workflows from scratch, via a template, or importing a BPMN. Finally, you can analyze the process and cases in Analytics. When you work in or manage a team, you want to know about the work in progress or completed work. While day-to-day casework focuses on completing one task at a time, managing a team of casework demands an aggregated overview of the team's work. The Analytics menu allows you to create and share reports that provide these overviews. Each report runs on demand and aggregates a process's case in tabular or graphical form. Now, start exploring SAP SIGNAVIO process governance. Remember, you can access process governance via the Process Collaboration Hub menu or via the task assigned. In the menu, go to Tasks to see all tasks assigned to you. Under Cases, you will find all cases for the individual workflows which have been started. In the Processes tab, you can see all existing workflows or create new ones. And finally, in the Analytics tab, you can analyze and create reports on your process workflows.
