For that reason, SAP Business Network provides all trading partners with the option to choose between two different types of accounts: enterprise or standard account.
SAP Business Network Supplier Portal mainly focuses on the standard account capability as it gives buyers an easy way to onboard their trading partners and eliminate manual transaction processes.
A standard account is free of charge, easy-to-use account on the network that allows trading partners to exchange documents such as purchase orders, receipt updates, invoice and payment status, and much more.
An enterprise account, on the other hand, might be preferred or already used by more experienced trading partners on SAP Business Network who wish to profit from a more sophisticated procurement process. The chosen account provides them with more functionalities and SAP support options. Depending on the usage of the enterprise account, SAP Ariba fees might apply.
