Advisor

Advisor reports are displayed while viewing and approving transactional items and provide key information to guide a user to make informed decisions or take action. It is an extension of the Analytics module, where reports are created and run, and it can be included in multiple viewpoints for Buyer Users to see messages, instructions, reports, and charts.

Advisor functionality can be used to help make decisions across a variety of areas within SAP Fieldglass.

2A popup notice informs Brian that Joe has worked for the organization for 129 days so far. Brian believes this might be over the allowed tenure for the region. Create an Advisor

Nelson, the HR Director at WorkingNet, would like to see a complete view of active workers for a given role, before approving a new Work Order of the same position.

As the SAP Fieldglass administrator for WorkingNet, you decide to create an Advisor so that when Nelson views a Work Order he can review a headcount report before approving. You plan the following for the Advisor:

  • Identify the data you want to see in the Advisor view.
  • Who should see each of the individual Advisors?
  • Identify useful data within the workflow.
  • Define Advisor details, making sure the report selected makes sense for the document selected and where it should display.
  • Keep it simple for maximum impact.
