Creating a System Broadcast

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to create a System Broadcast in SAP Fieldglass.

System Broadcast

The System Broadcast feature allows you to broadcast messages to specific audiences. These messages display in the recipient's message center and via email if their user preferences are configured to do so.

Navigating the System Broadcast Admin Object

1To create a new system broadcast message, select System Broadcast from the System Tools section of the admin menu.

System Broadcast Configuration Page

The System Broadcast creation page requires you to complete the subject and message of the broadcast, and indicate parameters such as the duration of the message and the recipients.

Create a System Broadcast

Brian, the program manager for WorkingNet Networking, Inc., a global manufacturer of data networking equipment, needs a broadcast message to go to Mavis Manager, a WorkingNet hiring manager.

He asked you, the SAP Fieldglass administrator, to create and send the message to Mavis.
