Exploring Job Posting Distribution Lists

Objectives

After completing this lesson, you will be able to:

  • Explain how Distribution Lists dictate the Supplier distribution process.
  • Summarize how Supplier tiers impact Job Posting distribution.

Job Posting Distribution Lists

Distribution Lists dictate which suppliers receive notification that a job posting has been submitted by a given buyer and provides each supplier with the opportunity to submit job seekers for consideration.

Play the video to learn more about job posting distribution lists.

Supplier Tiers

Supplier Tiers specify when suppliers receive notification that a job posting is available for them to begin submitting job seekers against.

Supplier Tiers form part of the Distribution List and are based on contractual terms that a buyer has with each supplier. For example, WorkingNet has a primary agreement with an MSP Supplier CoLabor8, who should receive job postings before any other supplier for a period of 72 hours.

After the 72 hours pass, the other suppliers will receive notification and begin working to submit job seekers for a given position.

Note the below callouts that allow Mateo the ability to review the defined Supplier Tiers within a Job Posting's distribution.

Job Posting Supplier Tiers
1Mateo can see the current Distribution Level, Distribution Rule, and Distribution List name used on the job posting template selected as the basis for the position.
2The First Tier or level is displayed and whether a response has been received from each supplier.
3The Rule used in this instance to enforce when additional supplier(s) in tier/level 2 will receive the job posting.
