Advisor Reports

The Advisor functionality in SAP Fieldglass acts as a guide to help users make informed decisions when managing records and documents throughout the system. Advisors can be created to present information in various formats, such as text-based notices, reports, charts, or linear gauges, and they can be applied to various parts of the UI.

Text-based advisors can be used to display key information not linked to specific reports, while Report-based advisors provide actual data insights to support decision-making.

How to Create an Advisor

Mateo, an employee in the Program Office of WorkingNet Networking Inc., a manufacturer of data networking equipment, thinks it would be helpful to display an advisor as Hiring Managers are reviewing time sheets to approve, alerting them of any potential budget overrun. He knows this added visibility will help them take proactive measures, like requesting a budget increase before funds are exhausted.
