Creating a Question

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to create a Question in SAP Fieldglass.

Question

Questions are added to forms to help evaluate a procurement need, determine the correct procurement method, or evaluate suppliers or workers. The questions are added to wizards, decision forms, and supplier evaluations.

For instance, a worker evaluation presents a wizard that contains questions pulled from the Question admin object.

An Evaluate Worker modal window in a worker record containing the questions Was/Is the worker ontime as required and Was/is the worker able to complete ass tasks as request, along with a rating scale of 1 to 5. These fields correspond to questions listed on the Question List admin object page.

Navigating the Question Admin Object

Configuration section of the Admin Menu, the Question selection is highlighted.
1To view a list of questions configured within WorkingNet’s tenant, select Question from the Configuration section of the admin menu.

Question List Page

Question List page listing all of the questions configured for the tenant. Each listed questions also displays information pertaining to Module, Question, Mandatory, and Answer Type. The Mandatory columns displays color-coded indicators for Yes, which is green, and no, which is red. The Module column, the Mandatory column, the Answer Type column, and the How long will you need the resources link in the Question column are highlighted.

The list page displays all questions that have been configured in the UI, regardless of the module.

You can choose what the answer format will be, such as pick list, yes/no, free text, etc.

2This column indicates the Module the question is associated to. Questions can be associated to Decision Forms, Supplier Qualifications, and Wizards.
3Mandatory indicates if the question must be answered on whatever document it appears.
4Answer Type indicates how the user will fill out the question. Answer types include 5 Point Rating, Date, Number, Pick List, text entry, and Yes/No.
5To view the details of a question, select the appropriate link in the Question column.

Question Details Page

The data that displays on the details page depends on the question’s selected answer type.

6If the answer type is a pick list, the pick list values will display in the Pick List Items section.
