A buyer organization may have a variety of users that will need access to the admin menu. Some users may need visibility into certain sections of the admin menu in order to be able to complete certain tasks. Other users may have access to the entire admin menu so that they can adjust any elements of the organization's tenant. At WorkingNet, for example, Mavis, as a hiring manager, may need access in order to view worker information or check job posting or statement of work templates. But as a hiring manager, her access would likely be limited, both in terms of what items in the admin menu she can actually access, but also in what she can do with the items she does have access to. For instance, she may be able to view items only and not edit them. On the other hand, since Brian is in charge of WorkingNet's temporary labor procurement program, he'll have access to many more items in the admin menu. He needs the greater access in order to better manage the program. Unlike Mavis, Brian can edit many of the options listed in his admin menu. But even his access is limited. Even though he is the program manager, he doesn't have full access to every item available in the admin menu. Most organizations assign a separate team or person to act as the administrator of the full SAP Fieldglass tenant. Thus, the tenant administrator needs access to nearly every admin object in the organization's tenant so that he or she can make changes to the tenant's data objects when necessary. The admin then would have almost complete editorial access to all of the objects in the admin menu. The major exception, however, is the ability to edit the foundational configuration of the tenant. Changes to an organization's configuration can only be performed by someone from SAP Fieldglass. Supplier companies, like re:CrewIT, also have their own admin menu with a different set of options than a buyer's menu. In fact, a supplier's menu options can depend upon how their own tenant relates to a buyer's tenant. Suppliers can have multiple buyer tenants linked to a single supplier tenant, or they can have separate individual tenants for each buyer they partner with. So Sheila might have an admin menu access related to WorkingNet but also access to the tenants of all other buyers that re:CrewIT supplies workers to. In short, the admin menu access that a particular user is given depends entirely upon that user's role. in the organization's workflow.
