Downloading Data

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to navigate a Download Data admin object and explain what it represents in SAP Fieldglass.

Download Data

The Download Data page allows you to manually execute any download connector that is enabled for your company and configured to be run via the user interface.

Download connectors must be enabled in the company configuration before they can display in the Active Connector File Format list.

There are two Types of downloads:

  • SIF, or Standard Integration File, which can be edited.
  • SQL, or Structured Query Language, which cannot be edited.
4An integration can be marked as not selectable from the UI if the integration is configured as a backend process, such as a webservice. In such cases, the Can Run From UI would indicate ‘No.’
5To view the details of a download connector, select the appropriate link in the Name column.
