However, Report Folders are also a means of restricting who can view those reports.</p><p tabindex="0">Report visibility is affected by many factors including User Role and feature access permissions. For instance, an organization will likely have different User Roles for Hiring Managers, Human Resources, and the Program Office. Reporting needs across these different types of users will likely vary, so being able to associate only certain reports that cater to specific User Role audiences is helpful. Report Folders are one means of ensuring only the appropriate users have access to certain reports.</p></div>

From the Home page, Matteo first navigates to the Admin menu, then selects the Report Folder link within the Reports section. This page shows Matteo the current list of report folders in the system today. To create a new folder, Matteo selects New at the top of the page. Now Matteo must determine what the new folder should be called. In the Name field, he enters Monthly Reports. Next, he selects Add. To ensure that the Program Office user role has visibility to this report folder, Mateo selects the User Roles Association tile within the new report folder. Then he chooses Add to associate that user role. Mateo will need to select Apply Filters to see all of the user roles that are available for this report folder. Once the user roles are listed, Mateo can select the roles he needs to associate to this folder. In this case, he selects Program Office. Then he selects Add to finish associating the new user role. Mateo can now see that the Monthly Reports folder is associated to the Program Office user role.
