Organizational Levels in Service Processing

Examples of organizational elements in Sales and Service are shown.

The main service process is fully integrated with many other processes in SAP S/4HANA. This integration is dependent on the relationship of organizational structure elements within the system.

The above figure shows an example of such relationships: the organizational structure for the Sales and Distribution process in SAP S/4HANA is integration with the organizational structure for Service.

Note

See what Steve, service planner at H2 Energy Solutions, has to say about organizational structure elements in SAP S/4HANA:

Note

For more information regarding all of these organizational structure elements, see for example the learning journey Implementing SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition for Service on https://learning.sap.com.
A screenshot of an enterprise organizational model is shown.

As an alternative to the previously described structures, Enterprise Organizational Management can be used.

This introduces the enterprise organizational model, which enables for example direct access to sales organizational structures from SAP S/4HANA Sales.
