Hello and welcome to this video, in which you will gain an understanding of how Brim applies to various industries. Your first question may be, who is a customer for Brim? Which we are happy to answer. We will give three examples of industries that use our Brim solution. The first are industries with high volume events, such as delivery services, streaming services, and transport services. Second, are industries with subscription contract life cycles of digital products. Third, are industries with bundles including one or two services and physical goods. These industries have different industry-specific challenges, in which Brim is able to handle high volumes. You find Brim solution components in industries that keep a relation to end customers, B2C as telecommunication or utilities, and B2B business with a very high volume of event transactions like travel booking platforms. In order to understand how Brim can support to meet those requirements, we will have a closer look and analyze how the solution meets the requirements. Let us start with the parcel service industry. Parcel World is a parcel company in North America. Flow's customers are B2B business customers with customer hierarchies, such as Online Shop New York, Fresh Food New York, Postal Shop New York, etc. As business customers, these examples have several customer condition contracts which are fixed in master agreements. Master agreements in the BRIM solution are leveraged to enforce customer-specific contract terms. These terms may encompass elements such as discounts, tariffs, and eligibility for ordering particular products. critical B2B process requirements. They can be visualized as a master container or logical bracket that houses individual contracts. One critical feature of these agreements is the careful structuring of pricing models. This includes standard prices, segment prices, and customer-specific prices which are efficiently organized and accessible via price tables. Moreover, customer tariffs for usage are established, correlating to the elements mapped out in the second portion of the agreements. The postal industry, in particular, demands a highly configurable price model that encompasses a variety of characteristics. The model also accommodates fees varying according to different delivery zones and dimensions of goods, weight, length, etc. Channels such as road or air freight are clearly outlined, as well as service level details, including tracking level and specifics like express delivery or pre-delivery information. Ultimately, these master agreements provide a comprehensive framework for contractual terms to thrive in AB2B environment. Worldflow begins the transportation of its products from Point A, which is its regional distribution center in Waldorf. All packages in this area are directed to this location. The packages are then transported by train to Munich, where they are held in bulk at its warehouse. Delivery vans and trucks employed by Worldflow then arrange a pickup from this location to deliver to the customer's door. The next industry that uses our Brim solution is a large railway net in Europe named Momentum Rail. They are a large railway network that offers tariff types for different customer groups. These groups are prepaid tariffs, subscription-based discounting, such as a flat rate or 50% reduction. Revenue sharing with other companies, such as local bus companies, local taxis, and railway operation companies in other countries is daily work. Usage in this industry is represented by a journey from point A to point B, and transportation characteristics differ from first class to economy, which has an impact on the price. In the example of Momentum Rail, Brim is used as a debiter and a creditor platform all in one. The advantage of this is that payments and debits are related slash connected with each other. The point of time of a debit to a third party can be made dependent from the customer payment. Also, corrections are easy in case of customer write-offs because the dependence is kept with partner settlement mechanism. The last industry that used the Brim solution, which we will be covering in this video is the Tech Guru Company, which is a multinational company in the high tech industry with B2C and B2B business. It develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software and consumer electronic, personal computers, and related services. You may be asking, how does Brim support TechGuru? Firstly, Brim supports their business model transformation from a vendor to a recurring revenue business model. Secondly, many diverse technical data sources make it reasonable to use SAP Convergent Mediation to improve data quality according to completeness.
