Import Business Transaction
You import the business transaction for the service confirmation. For instance, the AlmikaSoft Company looks at the Internal Service Confirmations in the Transactional Data for a selected period. Then they observe the actual run times of the different software in the period. They also distinguish via activities, for instance, how heavy the usage is–standby versus actual processing runtime.
The screenshot shows that the external location in India used the HR4 software for 1000 minutes.
Periodic Footprint Calculation for Customers
For AlmikaSoft, this information enables the calculation of emissions resulting from the use phase of the software by customers. The calculated data is later allocated to the emissions of the Berlin headquarters.
The screenshot shows all the emissions caused using the software. The emissions are 0.55 ton for Germany and the same for India.
