Consumption with Transformer Losses

This diagram shows the consumption transformer losses circuit.

The measurements are taken at a voltage level that is lower than the network access, and energy losses have to be considered.

Besides a real device, a device info record that contains a given loss factor is used here.

Consumption with Total Measurement

This diagram shows the consumption total measurement circuit.

By adding up all the meter values from several MeLo installations, a total measurement is determined at the MaLo installation. Here, we use two devices, which means that two MeLo installations are necessary to describe the following set ups.

Consumption with Serial Switching

This diagram shows the consumption serial switching circuit.

In serial switching, a primary meter and one or more secondary meters exist. We use only one secondary meter to describe the serial switching in this chapter.
