Learn how to access the console, create a site, and explore the fundamental functionalities of SAP Customer Data Cloud. This video provides a step-by-step guide to get started.<br><br>

In this demo, we’ll access the console, create our first site, and review some of the fundamental CIAM functionalities provided by SAP Customer Data Cloud.  Open your web browser and navigate to console.gigya.com. Enter your User Name and Password. Then choose Sign In.  Once you are logged in, you’ll find the initial screen of the console empty. We’ll start by creating a new site. Choose Create Site. The Add Site screen pops-up. Enter your site domain and add an optional description. You can choose if your site will be hosted by single or multiple data centers, and which datacenters your site will be hosted in.  We’ll choose Local Data Center and select the US data center for the site data location.  Choose OK.  You can see on the main screen that our site was created.  On the left-hand side you’ll see the settings menu which is divided into sections such as: Partner Dashboard,  Sites,  Identity Access,  User Interfacing,  Identity,  Orchestrate,  Data Privacy,  Reports,  Advanced,  and Administration.  Let’s briefly explore these menu features.  The Partner Dashboard displays several metrics around your CIAM data usage.  Site Selector allows you to list and search all the sites in your partner account, as well as select another site.  In Site Settings, you can configure your Site Domain,  Trusted Site URLs,  Domain Alias,  Custom API Domain, Akamai integration, or (CDN),  JWT Keys, as well as other minor configurations.  In Identity Access you can view your site’s customer accounts and groups data.  In User Interfacing, you can customize your web and mobile identity flows, e-mail and SMS message templates, and add hosted HTML pages to your site.  In Identity you can set up social and federation providers, site certificates, and configure multi-step identification security leveraging AI and rule-based custom security check scenarios to ensure additional security of your customer data.  In Orchestrate you can set up many ways to downstream and upstream customer data to and from your site.  For example, using Dataflows, an easy no-code or low code ETL solution.  Webhooks and Extensions allow server-side notifications and custom checks on identification flows.  We also provide simple ways to integrate with SAP Emarsys and IPS.  In Data Privacy you will find ECPM capabilities where you can configure and version Consent Statements, the Vault where you can see a list of customer Consent Records, and Communication Topics that gives your customers greater control over filtering specific subjects when getting informed about your brands and businesses.  The Reports section shows you insights on User Identity activity.  The Identity Query Tool allows you to extract extra customer data using a SQL-like graphic UI builder.  And you can generate useful analytics on users, including demographics, interests, and social behavior with Customer Insights.  In the Advanced section you will find additional settings.  Site Groups allows you to group all your brand customers in a single user database.  With the Accounts Schema you can customize Profile attributes.  In User Access you can define which attributes will be available for the Guest Account Schema.  Group Model Management permits you to create Customer Groups and Relationships between other Groups and Customer Profiles.  Site-Level SMS Providers enables you to set up external SMS Providers.  Certificate Provisioning allows you to properly configure your Login Portal and browser support to your web identity flows.  With Copy Configuration you can copy configurations from one site to another.  One common usage scenario is moving your changes from Staging to Production, for example.  And Web SDK Configuration allows you to customize settings on your SAP CIAM powered websites.  In the Administration settings you’ll find options to manage your SAP Customer Data Cloud tenant.  Settings changed in this section will apply to all the sites inside your Partner Account.
