You can use the mass change function to make changes to the items in several BOMs using only one function call.
The mass change functions support the following changes for material items, document items, and class items:
- Changing the component quantity
- Changing the item data
- Adding an item
- Replacing an item
- Deleting an item
When you replace an item, you can do it:
- In all selected BOMs
- With assignment of a new item quantity, if necessary
- Using engineering change management (ECM), if necessary
- With restrictive selection criteria, such as plant and/or usage
When you delete an item, you can do it:
- In all selected BOMs
- Using ECM, if necessary
- With restrictive selection criteria, such as plant and/or usage
