SAP Cloud ALM comes with a full stack monitoring starting from business process level to the health monitoring level. SAP Cloud ALM provides open APIs. This means it is also possible to consume information from 3rd party products and feed it SAP Cloud ALM or the other way,Business process monitoring – to assist customers to detect and react to any issues in their critical processes before they turn into major business disruptions. There are a number of predefined KPIs available.

Integration and exception monitoring capability. With this, you can ensure the data exchange between 2 services/or systems are consistent and if any error occurs, the responsible team is notified immediately so necessary actions can be taken. You can monitor your messages flowing between interfaces and be alerted if something fails or you can search/track for a particular message based on specific (business) context attributes like the sales order etc.

Real user and synthetic monitoring IT users and Business users can understand how often applications are executed and what is the response times for the end-users. With this information, they are able to address the performance issue if any before their end users start creating tickets there by increasing the end user satisfaction.

Job & Automation monitoring is also supported. It can monitor job execution health and detect anomalies during job execution for KPIs like execution status, start delay or run time exceeding certain time or in other words long running jobs that are blocking resources.

Out of the box analytics is available for each of these use cases to make the root cause analysis possible. Event and alert management can be set to generate alerts automatically and deliver them to those people that are responsible to correct them.

With operation automation, it is possible to set up some workflows to trigger automatic or manual corrective actions for some repeat offenders. The Operation Automation service integrates with SAP Workflow Management, SAP intelligent Robotic Process Automation, and SAP Automation Pilot:
