Testing Changes to the Production Process 

Welcome to the last demonstration of this unit. This video will complete the production process creation by testing the previous changes. First, we will have one more look at the business data in the pod to confirm no one else assembled the last component. In the production process designer, we will run the process with the same data again. We directly get the notification that the process was executed successfully this time. Let's check out the details in the production process monitor. In the process steps, we can observe that a couple of errors were handled. For Steps 5 and 7, the components were already assembled when we executed the process previously, and the assembly point was configured to reject overconsumption. The error was also caught by the error catch-added. In step 9, we still see the anticipated error with the missing assembly data fields. This time the process didn't stop there, but just continued to the next step. Finally, we can observe step 11 assembling the next step. missing piece. In this process execution, we saw that the error catch is working well, but we don't know yet if the error end is working. For this, we will assemble the last piece manually in the pod and complete the assembly operation. The next operation is the inspection of the part. This operation does not have any components assigned. Therefore, we can use it to try the error case. We will again execute the process from the production process designer and check if the error is thrown as expected. The process throws the error and in the details you also see the message. When looking at the error in the production process, monitor the process is marked as completed with error.
