Web Channel Overview

SAP Emarsys Web Channel is a feature that helps you deliver customized marketing content on your website. It uses real-time and historical data from your SAP Emarsys database to target specific customer segments or unidentified visitors. Thus, you can convert anonymous visitors into customers.​

Let’s check how to create a Web Channel campaign based on Content Blocks.​

Web Channel Campaign in Automation​

After creating and activating your Web Channel campaign, you can easily add it to your Automation program. ​

For that:​

  1. Navigate to Automation ﹥ Automation Programs.​

  2. Click Edit on your program.​

  3. Double-click on the 'Web Channel — Add' node.​

  4. Select your web campaign. ​

  5. Do the same on the 'Web Channel — Remove' node. This will prevent contacts from seeing your campaign.

Web Channel Dashboard​

Let’s have an overview of your Web Channel campaigns' performance on the Web Channel Dashboard. The Dashboard tab presents a detailed analysis of your Web Channel campaigns on desktop and mobile. ​

The Dashboard contains three widgets: ​

  1. Top metrics:

    • Impressions: Number of displays​

    • Engagement: Clicks and registrations​

  2. Recent campaigns: Active campaigns​

  3. Recent activities: Campaigns where impressions or clicks occurred within one hour

Web Channel Reporting Page

This page summarizes your selected Web Channel campaign, showing impressions and engagement across desktop and mobile devices.​

You can select a custom or preset timeframe. Hover over the chart to see a particular day's impression and engagement details.
