Setting Up a Mobile Wallet Campaign in an Email Using VCE

Once you create, test, and finalize your Mobile Wallet campaign, it is ready to launch. You can share it through Email, In-app, and Web Channel campaigns. Remember, your Wallet campaign must be ‘Ready to Launch’ before you can add it to the email campaign.

Let's explore how to include a Mobile Wallet campaign in a mobile-optimized VCE email.

SAP Emarsys Mobile Wallet examples: The image depicts a customer enrolling in a Loyalty Program online, receiving an email on a smartphone, and adding the Loyalty Card to the Mobile Wallet.

On the 'Email Campaigns' page, click Edit on the mobile-optimized email where you want to include your Mobile Wallet campaign.

If you don't have such an email, you can create one using our mobile-friendly prebuilt template, which contains a specific block for Mobile Wallet.

Then, select the pre-created Wallet block from the 'Blocks' pane on the left and add it to the email.

Hint

To add a Mobile Wallet block, ensure you have one of the following:

  • A pre-built, personalized, dedicated Mobile Wallet block

  • Any image from any desired block that you can link

  1. Click the Link icon.

  2. Click the Personalization icon.

  3. 'Ready to Launch' Mobile Wallet campaigns are duplicated as personalization tokens for Apple and Google. Match the relevant token to the respective image.

  4. After selecting the token, add the link title.

SAP Emarsys UI screenshots: The image displays four screenshots, in which the user clicks the link icon, inserts the Personalization icon, inserts the Personalization token for Apple and Google, and adds the link title after selecting the token.
  5. After adding both Mobile Wallet campaign personalization tokens, go to the Links menu on the left panel and turn off the Track option for pass campaign links.

  6. Once both Mobile Wallet campaign personalization tokens are inserted, test the Mobile Pass delivery process end-to-end.

Ensure this step is done on both Android and iOS platforms.
