As already highlighted frequently in this course, documenting all training and analytics are the cornerstones of training management. In order to create extensive analyses, SAP offers the SAP Analytics Cloud solution. SAP Analytics Cloud allows you to analyze all documentation maintained in SAP Sports One and generate individual analyses and insights.
At the start of the season, a first example of analysis can already be applied. As illustrated at the beginning of this unit, a clear target agreement with the players is needed at the beginning of the season. In the analytics area, a report can be created that depicts this target agreement. The evaluation categories that were previously mapped by the evaluation templates can be used to create this report. Here, the TIPS scale is also used for illustrative purposes to define possible player target agreements.

By defining the evaluation templates and creating a target agreement sheet in analytics, the skill and evaluation areas that are important for a specific player are recorded. In a later step, this analysis also serves as an instrument for target validation as soon as the player evaluation is created in the SAP Sports One system. We will come back to it in the Validating Targets at Season End unit, when transforming the analysis into a target validation report.
