Configuring and Organizing Session Questions

Objectives

After completing this lesson, you will be able to:
  • Structure the question folder to differentiate between question areas
  • Create questions used for training management to gain training session feedback from players

Creation of Question Folder Structure

As with the skills and training exercises, it is also useful to define a clear structure for the question folders in SAP Sports One. Here, the questions can also be subdivided into the corresponding question areas. This has the advantage that when the questionnaires are created later, the questions can be classified in their reference context. In addition, the structure of the question folders already offers a first idea on how to communicate with the players in a later step in order to obtain analyses for training management.

Note

To be able to manage the question folder structure in SAP Sports One, you need the role of administrator and the corresponding permission on Question Catalog at Enhanced Questionnaires. An overview of all SAP Sports One user roles is available on the SAP Help Portal (User Roles | SAP Help Portal)

If you have the required permissions, you are able to create folders for your questions in SAP Sports One at Questions in the catalog.

After creating a new question category at the top, you are also able to manage the permissions for these folders. To enable your team members to create individual questions, you can distribute permissions (read, write, and manage) at folder level. For each folder, you can assign permissions at person level or at group level.

As a best practice, we suggest the following configurations for question folder structure in SAP Sports One.

Creation of Questions

Once the folder structure for the questions has been created, you can start to create the associated questions. These questions are used to obtain daily feedback from the players to improve training management in the best possible way. The predefined questions can be used before or after a training session to get feedback on the training intensity or the well-being of the players.

The following simulation guides you through the process of creating questions in SAP Sports One.

Hint

Depending on which question type you have selected, you will get an overview of different answer options for the question.

  • Rating: Quantity of stars
  • Single Choice: Question answers
  • Multiple Choice: Question answers | minimum and maximum of answers allowed
  • Slider: Range of slider | starting position of slider | label of left side | label of center | label of right side
  • Date/Time: Format for Date/Time
  • Numerical: Format of number | range from and to of numerical value

After creating the question, you can also edit, copy, move, and delete the question as soon as you select the created question. To do this, navigate to the created question and interact with the four buttons on the upper right side.

As a best practice, we suggest the following questions in SAP Sports One.
