It is important to create a clear structure within the exercise catalog. Subdividing the exercise catalog into individual training focuses offers a great advantage for the micro planning process and the creation of team trainings with a certain focus, such as athletics, techniques, or tactics. In addition to the clear structure of the training planning, this subdivision also creates a reference to the configurations for the skills.
Note
In order to be able to edit the training catalog, you need the required role and the corresponding permissions for the exercise catalog. An overview of all SAP Sports One user roles is available on the SAP Help Portal (User Roles | SAP Help Portal).
If you have the required permissions, you can manage the training catalog in SAP Sports One at Exercises in the catalog.
In Create Category, you are able to create a folder in the exercise catalog that represents the respective training focus. Similar to the skills, you can also create a hierarchical structure for the exercise folders.
As a best practice, we suggest the following configurations for structuring the exercise catalog in SAP Sports One.
Best Practice: Exercise Folder Structure

To enable your trainers to add individual exercises to the folders later on, you can distribute permissions (read, write, and manage) at folder level. For each folder, you can assign individual permissions at person level or at group level.
