To streamline the procurement process, it is essential to import master data from SAP systems to Ariba Procurement Solutions. This lesson guides you through the process of importing master data effectively.
Users can run the ARBCIG_MASTER_DATA_EXPORT program on SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA (on premise) to import Master Data to Ariba Procurement Solutions. Ensure that you have the necessary authorization in place to run the Master Data program.
Prerequisites
- Ensure that you have necessary General Settings configurations in place such as Configuring Ariba Master Data Incremental Extract Event, Configuring Ariba Master Data Incremental Field Restrictions, Configuring Ariba Event Linkages, Configuring Ariba User HR Event Linkage, and Configuring Connection Parameters.
- Ensure that you have selected "Master Data" while executing Interface Setup program for SAP Ariba Procurement under General Settings section of SAP Ariba Procurement Integration. Before you select Cost Center to import the cost center master data, you must uncheck the following in the Lock section under the Control tab on the Change Cost Center: Indicators page in SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA (on premise):
- Actual revenues
- Plan revenues
