Outlining the Connection Setup in SAP S/4HANA

In your company environment, the SAP S/4HANA and SAP Solution Manager systems have been installed. However, in the Solution Manager the System Monitoring setup prerequisites were not performed, such as creating an RFC connection so the monitoring data and logs could be transferred from SAP S/4HANA to SAP Solution Manager.

As the SAP System Administrator, you are responsible for setting up the RFC connections between the SAP S/4HANA and SAP Solution Manager systems.

In the following exercise, you will define an RFC connection between SAP S/4HANA and SAP Solution Manager.

You should now be able to describe the steps required to set up an RFC connection in an SAP S/4HANA system as part of an SAP System Administrator's duty.
