Utilizing the Analytics and Dashboards to provide reports and KPIs.

Analytics and Dashboards

The figure shows an example of a dashboard containing different analytics. Analytics provides a detailed views on KPIs and the creation and customizing of data visualization can be enabled for end users.

Dashboards provide a detailed view of all reports and KPIs. In a dashboard, Analytics can be added enabling chart creation by the end user and customization of data visualizations. Dashboards support KPIs, shown numbers, and process instances as well.

The figure displays the selection options of chart types provided in SAP IBP. Not all chart types will be relevant for all data sets.

Have a look at the examples in the figure to get an impression why not all chart types will be relevant for all data sets.

Supply Chain data can be visualized at different levels of granularity. Especially, KPIs or planning data can be viewed at a desired level of granularity.
A dashboard provides a summarized view of charts, KPIs, alerts, process instances and tasks, and enables visibility of the most important data used.

A dashboard provides a summarized view of charts, KPIs, process instances, tasks, and so on. It enables visibility of the most important data used. This functionality can be used to display historical data through charts in one view.

In the next slide there are two examples of dashboards displaying KPIs, charts, financial figures and historical data. The bullets points on the left side in the slide are explaining the constructed charts on the right.

The figure shows an example of a dashboard containing different analytics. In one view, you can see how your supply chain is being managed by showing its most important aspects. For example, historical and forward looking key figures can be shown in a single view as well as a monetized impact of exception conditions, and users can be enabled to configure their own analytics and dashboards.
