Configuring the Printed Reports

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to demonstrate configuring Printed Reports in Concur Request based on CVI's business requirements.

Printed Reports Configuration

In the Concur Request Business Requirements Overview unit, you learned that CVI has the following business requirement:

  • If a user prints their request, it should include details of how the costs are allocated.

Working with Printed Reports

Steps

  1. Open the Printed Reports Tool

    Select Printed Reports from Request Admin to open the Printed Reports Tool.

    Select Printed Reports from the Request Admin tools.

  2. Copy a Default Report

    To copy a default report, select Request Printed Report and then select Copy.
    1. Select Request Printed Report.
    2. Select the Copy button.
  3. Update the Details

    Enter the detail in Print Format Name field. Select the Save button to continue.
    1. Change the Print Format Name to *CVI Request Printed Report.
    2. Select the Save button.
  4. Modify the Report Content

    Modify the report content by selecting the Modify Content button.
    1. Select *CVI Request Printed Report.
    2. Select the Modify Content button.
  5. Modify the Fields in the Request Entries Section

    Select RequestEntries from Content ID and then select Modify Fields to modify the fields in the Request Entries Section.
    1. Select RequestEntries.
    2. Select the Modify Fields button.
  6. Start Adding Fields

    Select the Add Fields button to add fields.

    Select the Add Fields button.

  7. Add the Request Allocations Field

    To add the Request Allocations Field, select Request Allocations checkbox and then select Done.
    1. Select the Request Allocations checkbox.
    2. Select the Done button.
  8. Save the Changes

    Select the Save button to save the changes.

    Select the Save button.

  9. Finalize the Changes

    Select Done button to finalize.

    Select the Done button.

  10. Navigate to Request Policies

    Select Request Policies from the Request Admin to navigate to Request Policies.

    Select Request Policies from the Request Admin tools.

  11. Modify the Travel Request Policy

    To modify the travel request policy, double-click the *CVI Travel Request Policy.

    Double-click *CVI Travel Request Policy.

  12. Navigate to the Print Formats Page

    Select Print Formats to navigate to the print format page.

    Select Print Formats.

  13. Enable the New Report

    To enable the new report, select the *CVI Request Printed Report checkbox and deselect all other checkboxes. Select the Done button to finalize.
    1. Select the *CVI Request Printed Report checkbox and deselect all other checkboxes.
    2. Select the Done button.
    3. Repeat steps 11 - 13 on *CVI Authorization Request Policy.

Result

You have added CVI's Printed Reports.
