Optimizing Site Settings

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to demonstrate configuring Site Settings in Concur Request based on CVI's business requirements.

Site Settings Configuration

You will remember from the Concur Request Business Requirements Overview unit that CVI has the following business requirements for Site Settings:

  • Employees are not allowed to manually close their request.
  • Multicity is enabled for air.
  • Administrators can reopen requests.
  • Expected expenses can be allocated individually.
  • Users should be able to e-mail a PDF of their request when necessary.

You know from exploring your site that some of these settings are already set the way CVI wants.

Site Settings Configuration Process

Steps

  1. Access Site Settings

    Select Site Settings from the Request Admin tools.

    Select Site Settings from the Request Admin tools.

  2. Update Settings

    Select the required checkboxes to update settings and select Save to continue.
    1. Select the Allow users to email and print reports and requests in PDF checkbox.
    2. Clear the Display the Close link for Authorization Request Users checkbox.
    3. Verify the Allow Expected Expenses to be allocated individually checkbox is selected.
    4. Verify the Allow Request administrator to re-open a Request checkbox is selected.
    5. Verify the Enable Airfare multi-leg form in Request checkbox is selected.
    6. Select the Save button.
